 i'm from boston mass{actually dedham, 3 streets away from where pete
hamilton lived}, i've been to darlington bunches of times, always in the
infield. it's where i saw my first cup races back when it was still called
grand national. if they kill it off i will hate the frances and their money
grubbing at all cost ethic.i have bought products that were car sponsors
because they were sponsors. they want us to be loyal but they don't
reciprocate

back in those days there were few more fun places to be than the darlington
infield on saturday night after the sportsman race, a great party with great
people. it was more than just a race weekend. throw in the joe weatherly
stockcar museum , the richard petty eimulator of a lap around the track and
it was stock car heaven,
