	Since 1969 there have been 71 Wins among 33 diff drivers, 52 from the Top10, 73%. Farthest back was 43rd-DEJ'03. Chevy has 12W inarow. 6 drivers got their One & Only Cup win at Dega. Davey Allison'87 & K.Schrader'88 also got their 1st Wins at Dega. First Cup Starts: DW'72, K.Petty'79, McMurray'02. 10 Wins-Dale Earnhardt. 5W-DEJ, 3W-JG, 2W-Martin & Marlin. One W: Schrader'88, BLabonte'98, Jarrett'98, Mikey 9/03-Last Cup Win. 0 fers at Dega-34 Plates AND Daytona-35 Plates (69 Total Plates): Rudd-113 KPetty-93 RWallace-87 Mayfield-44 Nemechek-42 MWallace-26 Stewart-25 ESadler-24 Kenseth-21 RGordon-20 KuBusch-17 Harvick-16 Newman-13 Johnson-13 JG had a Plate Win 6 seasons inarow '95-'00 (ModEra record). 	Oops-Lyin' Statmen For some reason i left out the 12 in my 'Dega Stuff' post. The Earnhardts have won 8 of the last 12 races at Dega. Which led me to try to clarify a StatMan's plight: After reading The Racin Junky's column 'The 10 Best Plate Racers', http://www.racingjunky.com/10%20Best%20Drivers%20on%20Plate%20Tracks.htm I am forced to agree, that many Statmen try to prove their point by only presenting skewed Stats. I must admit to some skewing also in my Stats presentations to the RASNMod Newsgroup, but skewing only in so far as, Jeff Gordon should only be compared on a percentage basis with the other great drivers in NA$CAR history. Afterall, he caint hep it he is only into his 13th full-time season of Cup racin, whereas RP-33 & DE had 22 f-t seasons. Just like DEJ is in his 6th full-time season in '05. Racin Junky could have made an even more impressive case if he had included the last 15 Plate Races instead of just the last 10. And he could have included 'The Rest of the Story' (which i always try to do). There are so many Dega-Daytona-Plate Stats, that i chose to present to y'all the basics--Who has NOT won at Plate Trax Racin. Let me offer my 'rest of the story' to contradict an obvious DEJ fan. CRU: DEJ is 7fer21 Plates-.3333%, Rest- 8-170-.0471, Tot-15-191-.0785. JG-9-49 Plates-.1837%, Rest-62-360-.1722, Tot-71-409-.1736. DE-11-53 Plates-.2075%, Rest-65-623-.1043, Tot-76-676-.1124. If i were wanting to prove that DEJ was the best at Plate Racin', I would have gone back to DEJ's last 15 races, not just his last 10. DEJ has 7W in his last 15 Plate Races, a .4667%. At this point in time, i would agree that DEJ is The Best Plate Racer, but how has he done lately? 2fer his last 7 and he was 0fer his 1st 6 Plate races. Statmen, skew it the way u want, but at least include 'the rest of the story'. CRU-Who wishes there were no Plate races, but they sure are exciting artificially-created races. 	Dega Stuff Kyle Busch got his 1st Plate Win of his 6 Cup Wins. KyB got Joe Gibbs his 1st Dega Win(in addition to 2 D400s). KyB got Toyota its 1st Plate Points Win(DHamlin won a Duel.) KyB's Win% of 4.88 is now 47th A-T, moving him past JBurton, KHarvick, KKahne, DJarrett, & EIrvan. JPM, DRagan, & BVickers got their 1st Top5s of '08. SMarlin, with his start at Dega, tied RRudd for 5th A-T at 32 Cup Seasons with at least 1 start. 33-BElliott & Buddy Baker, 35-DMarcis & RPetty. Of the 34 Plate Races since 2/00: Toyota got its 1st Win, D-2, F-5, C-26. DEI-11, HMS-10, JGR-3, JRR-3, RCR-2, RYR-2, Penske-1st at D500'08, BDR-1, APR-1. Mikey is now 4fer87 at Plate Trax & 0fer611 at all others. Only J.D.McDuffie 0fer653 has a longer non-win streak than Mikey. -- Crusader
