OK, prognostication & guessing time:>
1) Mark Martin gets the business of having a highlight for his> farewell tour out of the way, and wins the race.

Well, I'm guessing this one does not make the highlight reel. -1
2) Biffle backs up his California result with a top 10.

Ran well all day. +1
3) The rest of the Roush cars finish outside the top 10> (that's Kenseth, Busch, and Edwards).

Kenseth had a rough time early but pulled it back in. Busch
ran up toward the front all day. -1
4) Gordon (Jeff) and Johnson keep the points close with> T5 finishes.

Dunno where the points ended up, but they both got T5 so
they're closer to the top. +1
5) Jamie McMurray is the top Dodge.

Nope - not even top for his team (nice run from Casey). -1
6) Earnhardt (Dale Jr) has a good day and finishes on> the lead lap. All things are relative.

Hah. -1
Bonus: Earnhardt says "I'm glad as h*ll that's over" and> gets a nanny-fine for it.

I'll bet he did say it. Doesn't look like the media caught it.

(all the above pending NASCAR penalties on the 48 & 5 for illegal
bodywork...didn't we argue last year about whether you should
change your RPG score to account for penalties if they happen?)

We argue about everything!

My opinion, FWIW: don't let the penalties get in the way of
a good time. I'd say you were right on race day--you win.

(No room for you on MVM, of course.)

That's two good laughs today, Jeff. A new rasnm record!
