 Well it has been said for some time that DEI is the dominant force at the
restrictor plate races.
Without question DEI is definitely a force at these type of races, but
definitely not the king of the hill.

Looking at these races in 2003, 2004 and now in 2005 (that would be 9 races)
one can find the following...

Driver ----- AVG. Finish

Dale Earnhardt Jr. --- 6.22
Michael Waltrip --- 18.00
Overall for DEI --- 12.11

Jeff Gordon --- 7.67
Jimmy Johnson --- 13.67
Overall for Hendrick --- 10.67

Furthermore Jeff Gordon has won 3 of the last 4 restrictor plate races.

Hendrick is the king of restrictor plate races, we'll see how long until the
Roush drivers take the crown.
