As if Mike Joy and Chris Meyers have anything to do with the amount of
commercial time
and the direction of the broadcasts.

God, how ignorant some posters can be.

Where in this article...written by a "Yahoo" writer, no less are Mike and
Chris even mentioned??

Got a problem with commercials? Fine.

Take it up with the executive producers and the director. They call the
shots. Joy and Company
merely speak when they are spoken to.

From the article:> >"Frankly, Fox's telecast was horrible - and that's putting it mildly.">
(heh-heh) Ouch!, if MJ really does no longer lurk here it's probably a> good thing.>
Also from the article:> >"Another element of this televised travesty is, at least in Saturday's> >case, Fox's incessant focus on certain drivers. For example, Carl Edwards> >arguably is the driver du jour for Fox.>

Why?>
Answer: The sponsor of the #99, Scotts Lawn Products, bought a large> ad package from Fox. Fox gives airtime to those who buy commercial> spots. It is probably part of the sales agreement that the advertiser> gets X amount of exposure or camera time.>
