A sheer stroke of genius on Kurt Busch's behalf. Act as if there are no
hard feelings so that when payback time arrives, nobody will be looking for
it and/or scrutinizing KB for any *suspicious* bumps he may give a
particular driver, who will remain nameless for the time being. KB was
easily headed for a top 5 if not the win had it not been for the right turn
made by the 24 car. In either case, the Kurt Busch we saw today was a far
cry from the one that gets out of his car and shoves his butt in Jimmy
Spencer's face.

he must be taking a 300mg daily dose of Welbuterin. if he keeps this up i
might got back to pulling for Kurt.

I agree. Lately I have seen a great deal of changes in Kurt Busch . I
guess we all grow up. Hopefully, anyway. I used to boo him, but with his
ability to change his face and constrain himself, lately I have been
cheering for him. Not because I admire him, but because he's often the
lesser evil of those in the front that I do NOT want to win. As he
continues to mature, I would be willing to change my thoughts on him and
change from someone who boos him (as I used to do) to someone who cheers
for him (where I am now) because I don't like anyone else up front, to an
actual fan (if he can change, I guess I can).

The maturity level of Kurt Busch continues to impress me. As one who was never a
big KB fan (aside from loving his comment on the radio that NASCAR could lick
his salty balls), I'm starting to like the kid. He's learned from his mistakes,
which is something that all of us should do.

I agree. I never really cared for KB at all, especially after all the Jimmy
Spencer incidents. The last 5 races of last year changed my opinion of him
when it became apparent he was the only driver capable of preventing Jimmy
Johnson or Jeff Gordon from winning the Cup. I became his biggest fan those
last 5 races and I can't believe that I'm still a huge fan this season. I
think perhaps I'm the one that is chemically imbalanced.

Well I'm not his biggest fan. But instead of going "YAY" when he has bad
luck, I now go "OH DARN!"
And yes, I liked him because he seemed to be the only one capable of
getting it done. I did NOT want Johnson, Gordon, Stewart, or Junyer to win,
which pretty much left Busch as my great hope. And I've been kinda cheering
for him since. As far as being his fan... we'll see.

That's entirely dependent on one's perspective. If you sit to the left of
your television, as I do, Jeff Gordon most definitely turned right. If you
sit directly in front of the television, you get a different perspective.
In either case, it's over and time to move on to next week. I can easily
see Kurt Busch repeating as Cup Champion this year. Don't you think so??

But Jimmy Spencer taught him to "never forget" and I have no doubt that the
time will come when Gordon needs to be raced cleanly by KB and oops "I
didn't mean to spin him out."

At least he has learned not to broadcast his intentions. He said that they
would be going to TX which was way to fast for any kind of retaliation Etc.
he threw in an atta boy for Paint Boy and acted like it was over but he
knows that there is still some short track racing left this season....

i was starting to like Busch before he decided to broadcast his intentions
thu his team radio which i hope everyone knows is monitored. i didn't mind
what he said, just that he was dumb enough to say it. the same thing for
Jr. when he said something about bringing out the caution flag when he
needed it, there is no reason to broadcast that stuff.....keep it to
yourself and discuss it after the race.

What exactly did he say on the team radio? I'm not familiar with anything
he said on his radio? I agree, saying anything on the team radio is rather
silly if it is something you don't want to be made public.
