Did you catch the Hammond physics lesson?

About how carburetors move 'solid' gasoline, and when they don't, it's
a vapor lock...

I thought that was Larry Mac that mentioned the "solid", but it mighta been
Hammond. All I know is I said to the tv then that I'd like to see that
"solid" fuel that they're using... ;)

I missed that, maybe I was still thinking about his "look at it this way, when
ya pour gasoline on hot asphalt ... that's like vapor lock"

Later someone talked about the steam from pouring *water* on hot asphalt, but
the gas thing should have carried a "don't do this at home or in your 6th grade
science class" warning.

Sorry, meant to say it was Larry Mac pouring the gas out on the road ... not
Hammond.

Between Hammond and solid gas and the Governator claiming Cup cars go 240mph
it was hard to sort fact from fiction.

He most likely meant to convey something like "solid stream of gasoline" as
opposed to "solid gasoline".

Wouldn't it have been easier to say liquid gasoline?
