I thought it was excellent today. The cameras showed where the action was on
the track and did not care if Jr was in the picture or not. That is why I
have always preferred to be at the track. So often in the past the TV
cameras have focused on a handful of drivers regardless of the great racing
for position elsewhere.

Today's coverage was solid.

Not to mention the fact that there seemed to be few commercials during green
flag racing. I knew I would not be able to see the start of the race so I
was TIVOing and when I got home about 20 minutes into the race I started at
the beginning. Even FFDing through the commercials and parades behind the
pace car I was not able to catch up to real time. That was definately a
first!!!

I know a lot of you do not like to watch Fontana and Vegas races, but I will
be at the track for both in the next few weeks. Both tracks offer some
excellent racing, as long as that is what the TV cameras are willing to
show. If they follow the same formula they did today, expect to see some
quality action in the weeks ahead.
