If you look at how many times they were close last year coupled with all the improvements Evernham has made during the off season it's really not that hard to believe. If Hendrick makes the most sheer HP again this year, and can keep the engines together for full race lengths, it'll likely be between just JJ and JG. I'd like to pick a Gibbs or Childress team, but they just seem to be behind the power curve still...and who knows what is happening with Ford's 'central' engine program. This may be ITS year, who knows?
