hour early and be preparred to pay 30 to 40 for parking and you still my
have to walk about a mile to get to the track.

There is free parking at Daytona, its just a few miles from the track and
you have to take a shuttle bus.

I prefer to pay the $40-$50 to park in one of the private lots on Speedway
Blvd.

You are going to have to leave REALLY early from WPB. I live 75 miles south
of Daytona in Brevard County. We leave about 5:30 to 6:00 am to get there
before 8am. After 8 am the lots fill up and traffic increases exponentially.

 Forget the free parking...pay the $30 to park at the mall across the
street. It's close enough to run back to the car if you buy stuff
from the trailers, that you don't want to carry all day. Plus you can
tailgate.

Speedway Blvd pedestrian bridge anyway.
