Some T1-S questions

HardwareLust 7 February 2005 23:16:52
 I just got my new T1-S's delivered this morning ($59 each...quite a
bargain.)

On each tire, the sidewall is marked "Left" and "Right". Am I to assume
that this "Left" and "Right" applies to each individual wheel, as it is
installed? I'm gathering that the "V" shaped tread, the "V"'s should be
pointing forwards, correct?

One more thing; is there a way to decipher the information on the tires so I
can ascertain when each tire was made? I'm kinda curious, as I've heard of
someone buying a set of these where one tire was much older than the other
3, and he had problems.

Oh, and is there anything special I need to tell the tire guys when they
install them on Wednesday?

Regards,
H.

IIRC, the yellow dot on Toyo's is the low point, and should be matched with
the valve stem. Is that not correct?

You recommend 28psi as a good, all around street pressure?

Our friends in the UK may wish to adjust this advice for local
customs.
