is this what a jeep dash looks like these days? horrible!
too car-like and the idiot lights spread all over (not really all over, but you folks get the point)
nothing like the logically organized yj dash, all grouped together, with no light more important
than the rest
does any1 have a pic of a 97 tj dash?
just wanted to see how far dc went downhill since car-like dashes were 1st introduced

the yj look is not too bad (perhaps because i have 1) maybe a bit too much plastic but i have to
agree -
there's nothing more pleasing than the raw all metal looks of the cj's (have seen a couple)

No question, Bill. If I still had my 90 YJ, I'd have done the dash
conversion by now.

No question that the CJs were the end of the good dashes....oh, well. At
least the factory hasn't done DVD players in the dash yet.

You're right. And one of the many reasons I love the thing! Now, if it
only had 4 wheel disk brakes, low range xfercase, lockers, etc. etc.

Yes. Correct again Bill. It does, but not a 4:1. Also has a D44 front
and a Ford 9" rear with ltd. slip.
