I am fixing the busted hood latch on my 53 Wagon. I need some pictures
that show in good detail of the correct setup. Please email

 Hi Joe,
Probably your best bet would be to find one in a junk yard, as I
couldn't find any diagrams or close up pictures of your hood latch, only
to tell you the hood secondary release, and spring loaded hook shaft are
on the hood side: http://mvpimages.ne­t/willys/gifs/jeepsh­ow10.jpg The
latch and release assembly are held by four bolts:
http://www.willyste­ch.com/wt/Meet/Pict2­001/GrayEngine.JPG But I'd adapt
a Real Jeep latches that hold each side like:
