keyless entry

Bryan 7 May 2005 22:32:17
Ok. My '04 Liberty came with keyless entry and two remotes. They are not
identical as one does not have the button to release the back glass.
One does not work. I follow the procedure in the owners manual. Now, the
one I programmed works, but the other one stops.
Repeat, same effect, the other remote works....

Are the two remotes incompatible?
Got me scratching my head.

Bryan

i have an 2004 oldsmobile alero that has all power (power window, power lock,
power seats, etc). the dealership in which i bought the car from did not give
me a keyless remote entry. even though my car is all power, is there a way i
can have a keyless remote without taking it to a dealership and paying an
ungoddly amount of money to have one installed??

How the heck to I program the keyless entry on my 2001 mazda protege> without paying somebody money for simple instructions?

If it's radio controlled and not an infrared it would be more difficult.
They use special protocols to make some conversations to change the security
code on every event.

Ralf
