CBS Ratings for F1 Race

Von Fourche 27 April 2005 01:13:07

CBS race on Sunday got a 1.4 Higher than the IRL got on ABC and Champ
Car got on NBC. But not much higher than the collegiate "Cheer and Dance"
competition on CBS Saturday night.

why the hell do they have to dumb down the commentary ? when they do that,
they make it seem like a dumb event. who wants to watch something dumb ?
really, they should go ahead and give the most intelligent and insightful
commentary, those who tune in are either aware of the nuances of the sport
or will be intrigued by the complexity
Perhaps if they cultivated an audience they will get better ratings

You know less of TV Marketing than you do of F1: "Congratulations,
you must be a very proud young man"...

You are forgetting that the CBS audience is the one that thinks Dan
Rather was broadcasting actual "news". Puhleeze.
Perhaps if they cultivated an audience they will get better ratings

They have cultivated an audience, for decades, in the hopes of them
being as stupid as possible. They have been highly successful.

Hey, Nascar's not dumb. It's just ...layered.
