Michael Schumacher: Yeah, we have a new aero package here, on the tire side
we have improved, or we have a different construction at least. I think that's
about it.

Schumi promises a different story in Imola

Michael Schumacher faced the media late on Thursday afternoon in the
Imola media centre, a crowded, cramped but more colourful venue than
the modern facilities encountered at the first three races. The world
champion began by explaining how the F2005 had evolved since Bahrain,
as a result of an intensive test programme over the past two weeks.
"Basically, we have an upgraded aero package and have made progress on
the tyre front, thanks partly to a new construction," he said.

Looking back at the Bahrain weekend, Schumacher hoped that reliability
problems encountered in the desert were now a thing of the past. "We
had a few things happen that we had not seen before in testing, but
now we have sorted them," he claimed. "I am as confident as you can be
with a Formula 1 car, because these cars are prototypes after all. I
had not encountered reliability problems for a very long time, we have
a good record on that front and I don't think we need to be worried."

Obviously, Michael had been disappointed with the way things went in
the opening trio of grands prix. "Yes, we can say that, for me, the
championship starts here in Imola," he declared. "I am reasonably
confident that we can fight back."
