Spanish Grand Prix

Bst 19 April 2005 01:12:06
 Hi,
Whats the best way to travel from the centre of Barcelona to the Grand Prix
next month? Would it be easier to travel by train or by bus? Can anyone
help?

Thanks
Bev

I'm sorry, I cannot help there but I've heard that the Spanish GP is
sold out so I hope you already have your tickets.

Train - but it's quite a walk from the station to the circuit. So I'm told.

Take a train ('cercanias') for example from the Passeig de Gracia
train station (has a logo with two arrows) to Montmelo. A 10 trip
tickets costs 8,30 euros, travel time is 25 minutes. For timetables,
see http://www.renfe.es/cercanias/barcelona/index_horarios.html

The Circuit de Catalunya website has info on getting there at
http://www.circuitcat.com/ingles/f1/como_llegar.asp
They mention a non-stop bus service in this image:

From Montmelo it's about 2-3 km by foot and it will be signposted and
you won't be alone walking, but you can also get a taxi. The route:

Enjoy the GP!
