[spoiler] TV Coverage

Graham Hodgson 4 April 2005 14:39:50
This was the first race of the season that I watched and I have to admit
I was generally impressed with the tv coverage. We saw little of Alonso
lapping on his own out infront, saw plenty of the highly entertaining
Pedro, the BARs holding up a little train. Shame we missed the
Coulthard/Villeneuve/Barrichello incident.

Might be enough to make me watch Imola in a few weeks if it's not bbq
weather...

Cheers
Graham

I followed this race while giving my back yard a re-vamp, one of the
best presents I got at Christmas was one of those little portable
TV/radios. Weather was so nice I even finished watching the race outside
while eating my lunch!

Let's hope he has some competition by Barcelona then or you might hope for
BBQ weather that day.

LOL - the race finished and I went outside to clear my driveway of snow.
It *had been* 10-14C all week and most of the winter's snow had melted away
as a result; landscape & gardening crews had been out in full force, and
golfers had been counting away the days until the golf courses would be
ready.

And then yesterday BAM! heavy wet snow.. it finally stopped early this
morning - overall probably the 2nd worst snowstorm of the winter. Except
that it is now Spring, of course.

Oh well, it's caught everyone off-guard but should have been of no surprise
to everyone here in southern Ontario - 3 years ago we had heavy snow on the
last weekend of April and the first races of the year at Mosport were
cancelled as a result!

I'm counting down the days and hoping for warmer weather this season than
last - it was cold at the track all the way through to the end of June.
