When you deduct the income he's made from selling his body, he's only worth
£250

How did Eddie Irvine make it on the list?

Ferrari paid him quite a lot of money to backup MS and he used most of it to
purchase property. He owns over 50 buildings around the world - large
buildings, office blocks and the like.

The annual survey also includes lists in other categories such as women,
young people (under 30 years old), Scotland, Wales, etc.

In the young people list:

=22 Dario Franchitti £17m
=24 Jenson Button £14m

And in the Scottish list:

=76 David Coulthard £35m

DC is £5m short of the cut-off for entry into the main list.

Interesting -- although the proportion of his £153m that Eddie made from
motorsport is (I would guess) fairly low, he's rather the property tycoon
these days.

Doesn't he have a column in The Sun as well? One assumes they pay a lot
for that. Although, would that be in the millions?

The Times Online website says that he "earned £40 during his career" and that
he ploughed that into more than 50 properties worldwide.

He *earned* 40 quid, he was paid a hell of a lot more ;) Maybe the Times
shares my opinion of Irvine's talents ;)

Probably because BE has put a lot of title and property in her name.
