What am I bid for...

Probert 31 March 2005 23:10:46
As my copy of Autosport was thrust through the letterbox with great velocity
by the paperboy this morning, I didn't notice the loose insert that fell out
as it skidded across the hall floor, so didn't have the pleasure of seeing
it until this evening.

"Ferrari Calalogue", it says at the top, with the additional proclamation,
"Packed with all the Ferrari clothing and accessories any fan could want" -
clearly aiming their sales pitch at MJF.

So, among the usual ephemera (team branded clothing (inc 'F1 team socks' and
a 'Ladies strappy vest')), there's a 'multi-function pouch' - which seems,
from the picture, to serve only one function - to put your mobile phone in.

A 'Textured photo frame', available in two colour schemes - red or red and
black - the 'texturing' of which looks like a bit of red towelling cut off
to fit the frame; a lovely 'Embroidered velvet cushion'; there is, also, a
variety of different alarm clocks that give you the option of waking either
to the usual beeping sound or 'a Ferrari V12 at full chat'!

Then there's the bit that gives away what was wrong with the F2004M; the
Ferrari 'Lego F1 Car'; finally, and obviously saving the best till last, you
can buy yourself a signed 1:18 scale model of the black Ferrari Enzo Jay Kay
drove up Goodwood Hill in 2003 - but hurry there are only 30 left!

Cheers,
Probert.

"Ferrari Calalogue", it says at the top....

Actually, it says "Ferrari Catalogue" at the top. (And I can't blame anyone
else for that one).

Cheers,
Probert.
