The last lap will be the formation lap for the reasons mentioned in my previous post. BTW I do not oppose using slicks as well . Then let's see ! YSL

Was just watching RPM(a local motor sport show) and they've had a report on the MotoGp testing session. They did their testing, then had a 30 minute shootout with the prize being a car for the fastest lap. Can you see this bunch of bickering morons we call F1 teams, do this ? nah.. btw, Gibernau[sp?] got the fastest by half a second. Hayden ,Biaggi and Tamada up there too, Rossi was struggling a bit with the new bike, but still got 5th or 6th. Looks like it'll be a good season again. -- Regards, Frank

IIRC in that one the situation was reversed, he had the teams agree to not change engines between qualies.
