Michael Schumi caught a lucky break near the end of the race, otherwise he
would have finished the race but out of the points. No better than Villeneuve
over the past two races.
At least Villey can cite a low budget team as part of his problem, not
something Schumi can say.

What race were you watching? For the last 15 laps he was in a points
scoring position! Admittedly he would have not got them if Button,
Fisi and Webber did not go out of the race but to finisih first you
must first finish so why cry about lucky breaks?

Why do you ask me a question and then answer it?

It's the difference between being able to be proud of your performance
and confident for future races, or relieved that you picked up a few
scraps and worried about what will happen next time out.

The latter is MS this year, certainly. As for last year, Michael could
certainly be confident about that Ferrari. MS drove some extremely good
races, some cruises that a monkey could have won in that car, and a
couple of races that he should be damned ashamed of.

Which races should he be ashamed of? I can see a couple in 02 he
should be ashamed of but in 04 i thought he was a good boy.

He was a good boy. I don't mean ashamed of in the sense that he did
something heinous - for once, he didn't really, but then he didn't need
to. I mean ashamed of in the sense that he put in a performance that
even a rookie in a Minardi should have considered inadequate. Precisely,
his seventh place in Brazil and his 12th place in China.
