I know Ford have been interested in two-strokes for a while. A former
colleague who did some time in Ford R&D drove a 1-litre three-cylinder
two-stroke Fiesta, and claimed that it felt like a two-litre V6...

A combined two/four stroke engine is certainly *very* interesting.
Sadly sporting reg 5.1.1 bans it from F1 :(­
