... the pit crews have! The guys that used to remove and re-fit the wheels
now just "peer" at them as they come in. How many people does it take to put
some fuel in. Two to hold the hose and 8 "Wheel lookers".... and why on
earth the bloke with the lever jack still stands in harms way only to scoot
to one side once the car hits the jack is beyond me!

I'm guessing these are not exclusively the only two things you can't
comprehend.

Obviously he's there to stop the car in case the brakes fail.
