Two kick out each other and the third just manages to stay ahead of the
Jordans and the remaining Minardi. *g*

It looked like Nick Heidfeld was trying to show Michael that he could be
just as good at punting. The SpeedTV commentator compared it to 1994
against Hill (I think that Schumacher was innocent on that one).

I call it more of a Villey / Schumi bump, except for the fact that Heidfeld
was out of control, and Schui was well in control of his car against
Villey. :)

I think MS was fully to blame for Adelaide 94. Even German sports
tabloids did think so. *g*

I've got a .mpeg of it and SpeedTV showed the race in full last year, so
I've looked at it more times than I can recall. I think it was a "racing
incident" because he had some suspension problems. At the time I was less
than a MS fan (I'm still not a big fan) and immediately blamed him out of
sheer prejudice. The team had been disqualified so often in '94 so it made
it easy for me to think that he was guilty again! I'm still onside with
blaming him for the '97 cheap shot though.

I think it was a racing incident. MS tried to put the frighteners on NH,
it worked a little too well (NH did have room not to go on the grass,
but he reacted too much to MS' jink) and NH simply couldn't stop.
Perhaps the stewards should have a word with MS about changing lines in
braking zones, but I imagine the Ferrari management will have suggested
that he doesn't do it again...

He justified 97 against the precedent set by Senna in 91. Presumably his
justification for 94 would be the same, but since he wasn't punished I
doubt he'll ever make the same public admission he made over hitting JV.
