I think it was a "racing incident" because he had some suspension problems. At the time I was less than a MS fan (I'm still not a big fan) and immediately blamed him out of sheer prejudice. The team had been disqualified so often in '94 so it made it easy for me to think that he was guilty again! I'm still onside with blaming him for the '97 cheap shot though.

MS tried to put the frighteners on NH, it worked a little too well (NH did have room not to go on the grass, but he reacted too much to MS' jink) and NH simply couldn't stop. Perhaps the stewards should have a word with MS about changing lines in braking zones, but I imagine the Ferrari management will have suggested that he doesn't do it again... He justified 97 against the precedent set by Senna in 91.
