 I was walking up the track to the infield, on the pedestrian side just after
the Schumacher stand underpass, with shuttles tottering past at 5kph. As I
proceeded, I noticed this black mercedes coming towards me at a great rate
of knots. The track was twisty and muddy. I felt as though my life was in
danger so I motioned for the driver to take it easy, with several flailings
of my arms. It was then the driver made eye contact with me. To my horror,
the man driving the mercedes started laughing at my antics and gunned it
harder! I then realised it was Juan Pablo Montotya as I dove for cover. It's
up there with the greatest moments of my life. Something to tell the
grandchildren.

Later on I bumped into JJ Lehto snooping around the historics. No one else
seemed to recognise him. He loved it when I grabbed his shoulder and said
"Hey JJ, how's things". He said he's doing well, thankyou. Then the
conversation got awkward so I said I'd leave him to it.

Anyway just thought I'd share my Saturday F1 experience :)­
