Same old JV

Iain Miller 27 February 2005 22:29:10
 From Itv-f1.com

"""With sweeping regulations in place for 2005, which will see F1 take on a
new qualifying and race format, long-life engines that must last two grands
prix weekends and measures introduced to cut downforce, Villeneuve reckons
that a good set-up will be more vital than ever before.

"It all depends on how you set up the car, and that depends on how much the
team is willing to open its mind and not depend totally on computers, but
more on the human feel," he said. "We're still working on that."""

Seems he's arguing with his engineers about which way to go on the setup
already!

I.

Seems that you're fabricating something out of nothing at all.
What drugs are you on?

No it doesn't actually, the OP had a point.

But this thread isn't about the shape of his head.

None whatsoever - he's always had a thing about going his own way on setup -
not always succesfully - and he said....

"It all depends on how you set up the car, and that depends on how much the
team is willing to open its mind and not depend totally on computers, but
more on the human feel," he said. "We're still working on that."

Would it be easier for you to understand in words of one syllable & capital
letters?

maybe try this....

"ME NOT LIKE THE CAR, ME WANT TO FIX IT, THEY NOT LET ME, THEY BAD AND MEAN
TO JAQUES. ME WANT TO CRY!"

(picture much stamping of feet and small head disappearing down into
overalls 32 sizes too big for effect!)

Sounded more like an opinion rather than an argument. I figure by now
anyone who's hung around this place would understand the difference?

With JV opinions normally turn into arguments sooner rather than later ;-)

More likely he's giving himself something to complain about when he
fails.

No. He's just stating the blindingly obvious.

I hope so, .. maybe you'll recall 1996,.. JV had been following all of
Williams suggestion in regards to setup...

When they finally allowed him to 'suggest' some setup changes, the car
picked up 1/2 a second a lap...
