MINARDI TAKES TO AUSTRALIAN SKY
Tuesday, 22 February 2005
Australian boss of the Minardi team, Paul Stoddart, has said that his
OzJet company will be launched in Australia this year.
Stoddart will touched down in Australian today to launch the airline
which caters for business class passengers.

The fleet of aircraft, based in Adelaide, will feature the companies
blue and black theme as well as a chequered flag on the tail.

The annoucement will also state that OzJet will use Melbourne airport
instead of Moorabin.

The airline will be launched in Adelaide today and then in Melbourne
tomorrow.

The Minardi cars will carry OzJet logos at the Australian Grand Prix.

I doubt that, non of the world's airlines are making big profits these
days.

Let's look at this deal:-

Stoddart - Minardi Owner + Stoddart - OzJet Owner = Sponsoring himself

I think I'd prefer to see other people's companies sponsoring Minardi...

I think so would Paul Stoddart. I bet the OzJet signage will come off
after the Australian GP - it's just an attempt to get his new toy a bit
more exposure.

They produce *very* big calendars with arty pictures of F1 cars &
drivers, or at least they did last year as I had one on my office wall.
Got it via my brother who sells their products.
