Anyone else getting spammed by these idiots?

I was thinking of seeing what their service was like after the site
launched but I won't be going anywhere near it now!

Good to know that I'm not alone. However it's interesting to see that
someone at Bidf1.com is reading their e-mails on a Friday night as I've
just had a full apology from them!

You can abuse me all you like Harold and Pete it really does not bother me
in the slightest I have been called a lot worse than a fuckwit in college
in NJ so its water off a duck's back really

Nor am I going to drag myself down to your level and swallow the bait so
you are wasting your time and mine if you think that insults are going to
get me to rise to the bait, I won't be so you can carry on using the
language of the gutter but don't expect me to dance to your tune

Sure you are probably thinking "god what a dumb arrogant yank" and
thinking that I am a "redneck" feel free to think that but don't expect me
as a corporate representative to start getting into public slanging matches
however much the provocation

If it was only one spam, I'd believe you, but you're a lying toerag.
The spam I received from you on 12th April 2003 advertising your
"Grand Prix Magazine", of course, and the "ExchangeF1" spam from
12th November 2003, all go to show that the Thompson family of Epsom are a
persistent bunch of spammers who deserve to be repeatedly kicked from
every reputable ISP on the Internet.

Hey, and who pulled the domain "formula1magazine.net" from under
you? Presumably Bernie didn't like it?

I think you should be honoured, you're the first thing that Pete & Mark
have agreed about in years!

BTW - where did you get the e-mail addresses for your original mail
shot?

BidF1marketplace <admin@bidf1.com> writes>I acquired what was described to me in the item description as - an opt in>email list of motorsports fans

I thought it might be something like that, interesting that I really
only use the e-mail address in question on here and another well know
motoring site. I wouldn't put it past them to sell their subscribers
list off though.

As far as I'm concerned you can stop grovelling now, I think you've done
enough, I wish you well in the new venture. ;-)

Pete, one question.

Have you ever put your heart, soul and huge amounts of money into a
business, spent hours doing plans, cash flow forecasts etc etc etc and then
try to market it and prey its a success. Obviously not.

Where I don't condone spam, I do appreciate this guys dedication to
something he has probably spent hours and many $$$$ to develop. I for one
hope the site is a success and don't hold an e-mail against him.

Good luck and ignore the complete ignorant small minded idiots on this earth
holding you back!!

What's that have to do with spam?
Where I don't condone spam,

This is exactyly what you are doing?

Ah, so a small murder is OK, just don't do it more than once?

Spam is *always* wrong; it's an infringement of the rights of those of
us who don't like it, don't want it and despise it when it's foisted on
us in the guise of "information".

Pete's absolutely right, if everyone who developed a new
product/service anywhere in the world published the details where it
wasn't wanted we'd be flooded-out and the whole structure would become
unworkable.

I think it was growing up reading the late, great, tragically lamented
