Renault claim to be using a V keel which Bob Bell claims:

".. combines the virtues of both systems: we have obtained an
aerodynamic advantage for minimal structural penalty, while maintaining
our preferred mechanical configuration for the front suspension."

I haven't seen a good enough photo to see exactly what they mean though.

Looks are deceiving.. Renault always seems to think outside the box, kudos
to them..

If yesterdays testing is any indication, I think they've found the best of
both worlds.. their 05 car seems mui quick!
