Toyota & Honda back GPWC

Brian Lawrence 27 January 2005 16:35:14
A joint statement from the three major GPWC players (BMW, DaimlerChrysler &
Renault) and Honda/Toyota yesterday makes it clear that the proposed new
series is far from dead.

...With which they've clearly convinced you. I'll wait for some
substance, myself.

Convinced me of what exactly? Perhaps that BMW/Mercedes/Renault/Honda/Toyota
continue to talk up the GPWC. I've seen nothing since it was first proposed
that suggests it is anything other than a ploy to get more money out of
Bernie - how else would you construe Luca de M saying that "it had served
its purpose"?

It might be a long wait - unless you are looking for some other substance?
