I know it is slightly different but that configuration features on gran
turismo 4 anlong with old confirgurations of the fuji speeway, got to say, I
prefer the older configurations.

This is a better way to compare the track versions over the years.
Just click on the links below the image and see the changes over the years

The new version is certainly slower and has more of the trademark "Tilke
twisty bits" in it.

I'd love to ressurrect brooklands and re-fit it for modern F1's, hugely> banked corners n all... Massive grandstand facilities... lovely

You'll have a job - there's a bloody great supermarket built right on where
part of the track was!

We've just had two races on older tracks where its nigh on impossible to
pass following on from two races on Tilke tracks - for my money the first
two were much better. Next race is on one of the oldest & most famous of
them all and as a race its more than likely to be dire.

And the old version had some serious safety issues. Would
you guys rather they just put in about five more chicanes?

No it isn't - it's inside the track. There are two cuttings through
the Byfleet banking for the access roads - they could be bridged like
the bridge on the back straight, though.
