Hey that race was...

...Forgettable.

Apart from a refreshing result, did anything happen ? I thought it was
always Schumacher's and Ferrari's fault that we were stuck watching a
parade, and yet, here we are/were.. watching a flocking parade.
The only interesting bits to see were, what will go wrong on the
Mac(s) how Webber will screw up again, whether Massa's throat healed
enough to show DC the bird, would MS outdo JV this time, how JPM's
serve is working and if the Minardis can run away to more than 5 laps
before being lapped.

Massa let us all down.

Nope it just that type of circuit.
The only interesting bits to see were,

I thought there was plenty going on. Shame they don't seem to be able to
show it or tell you about it on the TV.

James Allen needs to be told how to read a timing screen. It's pathetic how
he calls things.

I think it was a great race. Great comeback for Kimi!

Until MS got puncture it was still unclear if Ferrari would succeed with
their one pit stratgey (even if I think Kimis perforance was too great for
MS to be able to catch up).

Best regards,

Massa let us all down.

I thought it was quite an interesting race, from a strategical point of
view, especially as regarded MS and whether he would be able to jump
places like last time, or if the other teams would be more successful at
shutting down Ferrari's options. It seemed like he was sitting pretty
for a podium until the tyres went. They did look completely shot to
pieces though, especially when the newish replacement left rear went on
the car for comparison.

IIRC MS had a rather short pit-stop, probably too short for a one-stop
strategy.

True, forgot to mention that as a technical race it was ok and that
was what kept me from falling asleep, but there was little action on
track.

Well I guess that much was vaguely predictable at the start of the
season given that the Spanish GP has been a yawnfest in the past, and
the new regs seem purpose designed to make it worse, not better.

Yet most people enjoyed it when Murray Walker became a blathering idiot when exited.

And he saved the car with a shoulder that, I believe, is probably still>a little weak. Well done.

Yup, while JA was busy critising the spin, I was thinking how great a
catch it was, and to not even lose a place... mega !
