ITV - much better

Well at least ITV managed to squeeze in all their 5 advert breaks before 10
laps before the end, so obviously they were a bit stung by the criticism.

Didn't you hear their rather grovelling apology about 5 mins before
the start? :-)

No, not really :-)

Jim didn't actually apologise, or say exactly what it was it he wasn't
actually apologising for :-)

He was grovelling about something, however :-)

Oh I heard it, although I wouldn't say it was an apology, more of an
admission of guilt.

Yes but if it had been coverage of football they'd have never cut to adverts. Why can't they have an small inscreen of the race without commentary whilst the adverts are on or just leave them til then end. I think they averaged 6 adverts per break at around 30 seconds each and then the F1 titles and LG screen take ages - all the while I'm sitting shouting "SHOW ME THE F*CKING RACE!"
I wish it would go back to the BBC or C4 - at least when C4 are covering a cricket match they wait until the end of the over and show one advert only; ITV used to show only one or two adverts at first, now you've time to make a cup of coffee, go to the toilet, send a few emails, and have a doze before they cut back to the race.
It would not be so bad if they knew how to commentate on the race, but thats a different matter.

I beleive that the Advertising Standards Authority won't allow it.
