 E# - Number of engines used by driver/team/engine supplier in 2008
Km. - Distance covered in practice/qualifying­/race in 2008
Avg. - Average distance per engine in 2008
NENGP - New Engine at Next GP
FCNGP - "Free" engine Change at Next GP

Averages in [] indicate that the driver/team/engine supplier is halfway
through a two-race cycle.

All data from the FIA website and/or FORIX.

Gearbox Usage

says that Heidfeld, Kubica, Alonso, Rosberg, Nakajima, Webber, Barrichello,
Sutil, Hamilton and Kovalainen started the Turkish GP with new gearboxes.
All changes were permitted because they had all completed four races with
their previous 'boxes.

Timo Glock was penalised (five grid positions) in Melbourne because Toyota
changed his gearbox after P3. This remains the only forced gearbox change of
the season.
