Hi everyone, I'm not too hot on suspension/steering problems. My car has developed a steering jerk to the left on acceleration and it the equivalent to the right on deceleration. It had 2 new tyres (balanced and evenly worn and aligned (by KwikFit though so no guarantees)) recently and I thought a possibility may be that KwikSh!t might have knocked something/broken something while putting the wheel on. There is also a creaking noise from the front driver side when i go over speed bumps or uneven road surfaces, it can be recreated by bouncing my car on the drivers side when stationary so I'm pretty sure it's suspension related.... could the two be linked? I have had the creak checked previously and was told it was just the suspension being old...is that the garage being too lazy to check? I have Thanks in advance for any help.
this may be two problems 1)steering creak- wishbone bushes split or lifting out 2)jerk to left/accelerating and right/decelerating- planet gears inside the diff worn often cheaper to put in a exchange 'box
