turn signal relay flasher

Kent_1 29 April 2005 01:10:57
I have lost my manual for my car and need help...I have no signals...I
bought a new flasher but have no idea where to look for the old one...I
have looked under the dash by the fuse box and under the hood...could
someone narrow down my search and tell me where it is?

Thanks

Haynes says:
"The combination hazard/turn signal electronic flasher unit is mounted
under the left side of the instrument panel, above the fuse panel."

Picture shows a squarish box, held in by a clip, with a plug on one end.
Not mounted directly on the fuse panel like many cars.

do NOT get us started on ford taurus turn signals and the problems they present! We are on our fourth signal on our 2004 ses. It's the only thing we don't like about this darn car. We've been under warranty for all of the first three signal failures, but this time it's going to cost us about $80 out of pocket. What's with this car and the signal thing? anyone???
