i would like to bypass the system that whant a chip key to start the> engine , because i lost one of my key and ford is asking almost 100 $> CDN , so i would like to have a normal key to start my engine , so how> can i bypass the system it is a Windstar 2002 LX , with remote starter ,> so how can i do it .

Tape your good key to the steering column near the antenna> wire for the PATS (best to tape it inside the plastic cover> near the switch). Then any key with the correct key cut will> work. What sort of remote starter do you have? Many of those> just use a "good" PATS key to bypass the security. If so,> you potentially have two good keys that you can use to> program a third key. The key would be inside the bypass> module.>

thank's i did that and it is working perfectly , i i can ask you an other > question , here it is , i bought that van about 4 week's ago , and i am > still trying to find out how the remote starter works, i can start the van > remotely , but when i put the key in the ignition , and turn it the van > stop , i can start it with the key and go , but i know there is a switch > or something to do before , i have tried the brake pedal , the headlight > switch , the radio and many more , i did not find the right one yet , and > there is a small push switch near the hood reealease , i push it , but i > dont know what it does , is there a way to find the right sequence to keep > the engine running , i never had a remote starter , it is a first for me , > so any help would be appreciated , i think it is a ford remote starter>
