I believe it is relatively new. I use it on my brand new car. Its quite
amazing. It works out cheaper and is less work than traditional waxes. It
really gives a show car "wet" look.

People have been talking about Zaino for the roughly two years I have
been actively reading RAMFM.

A while back, after i reported my being really impressed with Klasse
3-in-1 wax, a few others posted their equally good experiences.

Go with Klasse

One more thing, with Zaino, you need a f---ing chemistry degree. They> send you a kit with a f---ing dropper to mix the polish correctly. When> I'm in my garage drinking beer and smoking weed, I DON'T HAVE TIME to> measure f---ing chemicals!!!>

LOL, it is a bit like a chemistry set! Actually its not that bad. The only
mixing you have to do is a few drops of ZFX(curing compound) with the Z2-PRO
polish. I did not experience Zaino coming off in bad weather, but it really
depends how bad you are talking about. Caruba waxes are very good though. I
also recommed this site for cleaning/wazing products:

http://www.carcareonline.com/

If nothing else, make sure you real 100% cotton towels for all your drying
etc. Typically the Wal-Mart towels are not real 100% cotton.

Indeed.. I particularly like Meguiar's gold class liquid wax. It's real
nice, but too much "dust" when buffing. I just waxed my car a couple days
ago with Mother's Carnuba wax... wasn't too bad at all! I've heard a lot of
good things about Zaino... but f*ck that's hard to obtain lol... I think I
am going to try Klasse.. heard a lot of good things about it as well.

its great, till it rains. My '04 (metalic grey) looked phenomenal, but the

I've tried many waxes but two experiences stick with me.
Zymol smells like bananas and when I used it, swarms of
wasps and bees would show up.
Eagle One (whose products I used to like) came out with
"Nano Wax" which was trash. It smelled just like all
the other cheap waxes out there (indicating is WAS like
them) went on and came off with great difficulty.
New Turtle Wax (can't remember the exact type) worked far
better. But, a friend's car looked better than it ever
did when he used Zano.

I have been using "Nu Finish" for many years, great stuff for about
$15.

Just made my shiny new '05 black convertible look very nice!

You realize that Nu-Finish is intended for very old cars. It performs
"cutting" meaning you just cut into that nice '05 paint. It makes old dull
paint look new because it cuts it to expose new paint. Its a cut'n'polish.
Very bad stuff. Zaino is completely non-destructive if you stick with Z2/Z6
combo.

Same here. Klasse is awesome. Does not disappear after a few carwashes

No signs of paint on the cloths. Car looks great. And my white '66

I always thought all polishes "cut" to an extent. I've used a polish on my
98 GT before to help get rid of scratches... never screwed my paint.

That's because the new one has a clear coat.
You won't see what it is wearing off because of that.

Musty is right you should NOT use Nu Finish on a new car.

Sorry, sad but true.

 That's what the "polish" does.
Using it to remove scratches and swirls is what it is intended to do.
A WAX is non abrasive.
Each is it's own seperate step in maintaining a nice finish on your car.

You would use a wax often, but a rubbing/polishing compound only when
needed.

If I may, I'd like to suggest a clay-bar cleaner process as a once or
twice-a-year total car activity.
It works great at cleaning off the fine contaminants that build up and
don't always come off with a wash and/or wax. Tree sap and bug hits
to name a couple.

Thought so. I knew a wax was non-abrasive.... I've only polished my car
twice in 3 years. Maintaining a nice couple coats of wax (occassionally
getting out Dawn & getting rid of all of it) has kept her looking pretty
decent *I* think.

Good point. Using a cut'n'polish on a new car is un-necessary because its
destructive. Please, save that ClearCoat!!
