 I took part in the Parke County Covered Bridge Bike Tour on May 7,
2005. I have toured Parke County, Indiana by bicycle in previous
years. One place that I put on my "must see" list is the Bridgeton
Mill and Covered Bridge. I was sickened to see only charred timbers
remaining of a splendid bridge that proudly crossed Big Raccoon Creek
from shortly after the Civil War until April 28, 2005. The police have
a suspect. The next step is for the Parke County Prosecutor to
determine if the evidence is "beyond a reasonable doubt". Any help if
greatly appreciated. You may remit to

Earmark it for the rebuilding of Bridgeton and Jeffries Ford bridges.
Anyone who has visited or lived in this area can appreciate the loss.
