	That would be a very stupid move! Tell that to all of the tourists they get every summer, especially from Quebec and the rest of New England. I've lived in southern Maine twice. Their days are short enough as it is, with New Year's sunset at 4:15 PM, if that. I live in central Connecticut now, about a four hour drive from Portland. There was also a writeup about this at www.wcsh6.com, the website for WCSH-TV (NBC) channel 6 of Portland, ME. An opinion poll showed that the most people for this were in and around Aroostook County (Presque Isle, Fort Kent and Caribou), while those down in Cumberland and York Counties (Portland, Biddeford and Kittery) are strongly against it.

	This already happens with Puerto Rico. They're on Atlantic Standard Time year round. They're an hour ahead from October to April.
