Very Old New England Thruway Shield

 Last night while on a bus trip to Yankee Stadium, I noticed a very old
NET Shield at the end of the ramp coming from the Washington Bridge
(not the George Washington Bridge) to University Avenue. The colors
have really faded away. I bet it is older than the NET shields I have
seen posted on other sites. I'd recommend to get a picture of this
shield. Also, does anyone know why this shield would be posted there
because the Cross Bronx Expressway starts rught around where this
shield is posted. Thanks

The Cross-Bronx Expressway and the NET are both IH 95: That might have
