Highway historical markets for industrial sites?

Guest 13 April 2005 17:53:00
I was wondering the criteria for putting up an official
highway historical marker for an industrial/commercial site.
That is, there are several locations in my area that
pioneered technological innovation in communications
or computers back in the 1940s. Do things like that
(ie the first Univac made) qualify?
