| | On my 2003 Volvo S60 if you hold the tripometer button too long not only does it not reset the service reminder light, but 045 appears in the message center. Does anyone know what that means? |

| | I have a 2007 VW Rabbit. Recently when I turn on the air conditioner I get a funky "cheese" smell that comes out. Has anyone ever heard of this? Is there an easy fix or do I need to take it to the dealer to get it checked out? |

| | ive got a neon, i thought it was a dodge. but i guess its a chrysler, well i blew the headgasket, we replaced it, now my fans wont come on when they need to, and the car keeps over heating. i really need help. we hooked up a machine and its coming back that i dont have any codes. but the guy fixing my car believes its my PCM, which he says controls the temp sensor and tells the fans to come on.
i was also told if there is something wrong with your PCM it will set on your check engine light, but my check engine light is not on. we replaced the temp sensor, and he checked all the wiring. the relays are fine because we checked those, we also jumped the fans to make sure the motors worked.
my fans will stay on as long as i keep the ac on, so ive been driving with the ac, and seem to be doing alright. but im not sure how hot the car gets, because my needle on the dash will only go so far, even if the car is overheating.
PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME!! I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR A FEW MONTHS AGO AND WILL BE MAKING PAYMENTS TILL NEXT OCTOBER, I REALLY NEED HELP! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!
i just graduated hair school and cannot afford to get another car, please someone im begging you!! please read this!!

Can anyone guide me with some precise instructions because the mechanics want to charge $278 to do the job although I never understood if the ignition switch and the housing is know as the same thing on this model car.

When I shift the car out of park you can feel the trans engage, but the car will not move. If I put it in neutral and rock it back and forth several times it will roll and then you can drive it and all is fine until I put it in park again.
I did notice the motor mounts are shot and the engine really roll while I am rocking it. Is there something that locks the cv shafts. When you shift you can feel it shift the trans forward or reverse but it does nothing until I rock it.

| | I have a 1995 ford explorer and just bought a remanufactured rack and pinion unit it has the inner tie rods on it. I was hoping someone could help me out by telling me how to remove the old rack I know I probably have to remove the outer tie rods, but it looks as if there is not going to be enough clearance to remove the rack from its location. | | I just bought this 92 saturn sc. When i got to car the radiator fan's ground wire was also wired into the internal cabin blower motor. The car had started overheating on the previous owner while out in the country and the fan was not kicking on. Good temporary fix. Only problem is that it is 90 outside and to runthe cooling fan youo have to have the heat on inside to make it work most efficiently. Found out temp sensor went out and that was why i though the fan wasn't working right. Replaced the temp sensor and the fan seemed to be running fine. I then noticed a day or two later that the car was getting hot. Now overheating to excess. I know now that the fan is only kicking on when the a/c is switched on. The relay is good. temp sensor is working and the fan motor is good. any suggestions on what might be wrong would be appreciated. thanks katie

I have checked the car and it needs oil(between high and low mark on dipstick). What type of oil to use? Also my antifreeze thing is empty!! Completely. Is this normal? What type of antifreeze to use. There are different color ones. Does it matter? |

| | I've taken our Honda 2005 CR-V into the dealer multiple times to repair the hatch door latch so that the indicator light on the dash doesn't keep flickering and automatic door locks work. Now that this car is out of warrantee, the dealership is out of the picture. If possible, I just want to disconnect the sensor or fuse that involves this indicator. I'm not sure the info I'm looking for is in a service manual or electrical manual, etc. ($80 USD). I would like to know if anyone knows how to FIX this!!!!! |

| | I own a 1994 sc2 went to shut car off and remove keys and that is when it locked up in the acc. mode.steering wheel is not locked up and will not lock up.The only option I have at this moment in time is to cross up the wires and get the car started.Does anyone know the idenity of the power and starter wires?thanks for reading.
