I've got 25 years of manual transmissions under my belt. I did have an
automatic once, for two winters ('76 Dodge Coronet). I didn't know what to
do with my left foot at first. A tip: DON'T try to push the clutch on an
automatic that has a wide brake pedal!

Get someone to help u get it to an empty church parking lot (or similar
big, open, paved lot) & practice away. It'll come gradually at 1st, but in
a few minutes, you'll drive out happily and assuredly. HTH, s
