SO... as an example, you republicans would allow a few liberals into
the rnc convention? With sign that said "kerry/edwards"?

Bush is no pro-union President, that is a fact. So why would you
expect UNion people to allow cars with bush stickers near them?

Also foreign made cars ? That is very non-union as you can get!

I really think you're you thinking this through very much.

WHo cares if they were in the military. That point is brought up just
to try and make someone sound unpatriotic, and it shouldn't work.

thanks.

Comparing a parking lot to the RNC is ridiculous. But at least the RNC
allows a few pro-choice people to speak, while the DNC would NEVER let
a pro-life democrat to talk.

Anyway, I thought the UAW was supposed to be non-partisan? LOL!

Like the UAW or not, their attempts to give "buying American" positive
connotations are the primary reason that people buy American vehicles.
Sadly, it's not the vehicles themselves, with only a few exceptions.

That's not what the president of the union said in a radio
interview on March 14.

In '08 "that" would be a gas <G>

it is presumptuous to believe that even a majority of
union members supported Kerry.

In any event it is the responsibility of all of us to
support our president until Jan '09

UAW has lost its way quite a ways back and its present
executive is living three knee-jerks in the past.

UAW President Ron Gettelfinger seems to need someone to
sharpen up his pointy little head. He is part of the
reason that US auto makers are making cars that fail to
compete well in the marketplace.

You bet your boots it has!!!!!!!!

WTF do you mean, "support"?

Does that mean we shouldn't criticize his policies if we disagree?

Does it mean we should all put Bush stickers on our cars?

Does it mean we should believe everything he says?

outlined in the Bill of Rights.

Bush is more pro worker than the democrats. I would think you would
worry more about the workers than the unions, which do nothing but
steal from poor hapless souls who are too stupid to get a real job.

I'm sure I will regret intervening in this conversation, but I don't think
he means it at all. What do I think he means? It's really hard for me to put
it into words. The closest thing I can think of how to put it is this: When
someone tries to bash him and/or our country, it means to stick up for the
guy and our nation while acknowledging that we do not agree with him on
everything. Try to give the president the benefit of the doubt initially.
And also that we go about our disagreements with him in civilized manners,
such as participating and/or funding rallies against his policies, and
voting for congressional candidates who agree with our stance, and of
course, voting against him or someone that supported him, and things like
that.
As an American, it is my responsibility to exercise the rights>> outlined in the Bill of Rights.>
Troublemaker.

- who leans towards many principles of the Republican Party, but refuses to
consider himself one and will not vote for those at the national level that
agree with the president.

So which of those 7 rules did he violate?

You seem to have violated #4

And while you're at it, I'm still wondering what you mean by saying it
is our responsibility to support Bush.

It is one thing to criticize the president's actions
It is another thing to fail to support the presidency

I certainly criticized many things Clinton did and did
not do, but I also criticized those that attacked HIM.
Therein lies the difference

You will note that sens Kennedy, Kerry, and Clinton (as
well as the NYTimes) have changed their tunes. They
just learned that (1) their caustic criticisms were
wrong; (2) they realized that the president, duly
elected by the people, is entitled to thesupport of
the populus throughout his term.

BTW- the most legislatively successful president in
history, had the support of no party at all.

Still waiting for Moffitt to tell us when the plant shut down. The
most current link posted here is from Feb. 2004 showing the lockout was
over and the plant reopened.
Asked to post something more current to back up his claim that the
plant was currently closed Moffitt, as usual, could only say "LMAO" and
"snicker".

Try looking it up in the dictionary - that is where to>go when you do not know the meaning of a word.

You might want to do the same since what you described in your other
post as your meaning of "support" does not fit the definition.
