SUV Spontaneously Flips Over; Human Dead, But Dogs Survive

Scott en Aztln 19 February 2005 18:47:43
Here's a case where an SUV spontaneously flipped itself over, rolling
three times and killing the human driver. Fortunately, the two canine
passengers survived. All of this was due, of course, to the fact that
nobody was wearing their seat belt.

And morons buy SUVs because they think SUVs are "safer."

"Spontaneously"???? Looks like another case where a speeder simply lost
control. Fortunately, this time he killed himself and not other people
on the road.

Doesn't look that way to me. The liberal media in Tucson is always
quick to put "speed-related" into an accident story if they can
possibly find any trumped-up excuse to do so. You'll notice they did
mention that none of the occupants (dogs included) were wearing
seatbelts.

Sorry, Judy, but you can't blame this one on speeding.

Maybe the SUV was possesed?>

Maybe an idiot with loose dogs in the passenger compartment?
Although most of the rollover crashes I read about in the local news paper
are SUVs&PU trucks,about 5:1 to regular cars.

Tires don't blow up anymore. And gas pedals never have stuck although
geezer drivers are told by the AARP to say that whenever they mow a
pedestrian down.

The problem about blowouts is not that the blowout causes loss of control
but that dumbasses like that United guy think the proper way to react to
the car pulling slightly to one side is yanking on the wheel.

Btw, I had two flats in my car, both times small metal objects. Neither
tire did blow out, maintaining control was no problem.

Blowouts usually are caused by running tires, that have been on the
car for umpteen years and have disintegrated internally. The easiest way
to solve this is changing the tires after 6-7 years even if they are not
at minimum thread depth yet.

I am confused by the actions of the dog owner. I love dogs, but when
I walked in and they told me they had spent $10,000 saving my dog, I
would have responded with "Oh, that isn't mine. I was mistaken."

Wrong, I've seen it happen (this was on the end of a 2-minute
burnout).

Wrong again, bozo. All you need is a faulty pedal installation,
or a stuck spring.

You jest, but it happens all the time - at least, according to the
newspapers. They never say "the driver flipped his SUV over" - they
say "the SUV flipped over." I suppose by blaming the vehicle itself
rather than the driver they think they sound more objective?

ridiculous.

No, they sound more idiotic and biased against an inanimate object, the
SUV.

It's not my claim - that's the claim of the liberal fucks who wrote
the news article.

If I had written that report, I would have said "A driver flipped his
SUV on I-10, rolling three times and killing himself. The dogs are
gonna be all right."

Absolutely.

Hurricane Charlie turned off MY electric power for an entire week, here in
Central Florida. Then two more hurricanes roared through.
Much of Florida lost power for lengthy time periods due to hurricanes last
year.

You -can- see a lot more stars when city lights are not on.
Just ask any astronomer.

My Mother had a tree chrash into her car a few years back.
She was driving down a town street and a major limb fell
from the tree and crashed onto the hood of her car.
Fortunately she was not injured. The same cannot be said for
the car - or the tree. The town removed it the next week.
