Time to make a traffic stop what it really is: An Arrest.

At a traffic stop, you're not allowed to leave at your discretion, you
are under control of the cop. You are ARRESTED. You deserve to be
read your rights.

The erosion continues.

Keep it up, government (they sure aren't the "people"). The backlash will
finally come, and it won't be pretty.

No. The people are thoroughly cowed. There will be no backlash.

And you are entitled to a lawyer to keep the government in line....

Uh oh, Judy; Sounds like you'd better avoid Utah.

2 is doing OK by my estimation. The last numbers I saw include
something like 37% ownership and 30% of households.
Pretty high. Higher than I thought.
The trend toward states allowing CCW is continuing (see Ohio).

Eventually, about 65 troopers will be trained throughout the state in>the nominal medical procedures needed to take blood.

I hope they are prepared for the lawsuit that will invevitably ensue when
someone on Coumadin or who has hemophilia has to be taken to the hospital due
to uncontrollable bleeding following the blood draw.

No, they will just occupy us for many years while we pick them off a few at
a time until there are none. -Dave

This is a BAD idea. The potential for injury from a bad draw is high.
I would never submit to a blood draw from anyone but a trained
phlebotomist who is drawing blood in a controlled setting.

You're just another criminal coddler who doesn't want these deadly
criminals to get caught cause you're one of them.

I stopped donating blood because of the damage to my arm after the so called
clinicians had finished. I used to get huge bruises from my elbow to my
wrist sometimes. I don't bruise easily. I don't know whether it was them or
my veins but I put a stop to it. I live in the UK so this isn't a problem
for me but the thoughts of some knuckle scraper with a badge sticking me on
a hunch (or vindictive belligerence more likely) gives me shivers.

Just wait until one of the cops fouls up with a hemopheliac (or however
it's spelled).

All we really have to worry about are those who want to keep their
"power." The rest of them we need to help.

Then years down the road we can ask them to reciprocate.

Obviously, but if the police officially determine that, it'll look bad
for them. So they won't. The fox never reports on his own

Remember, this will happen in the field, in the dark, with an
individual who may not want to get stuck. And the officer may not
have a lot of experience at it.
