Thanks Jan for the tips on the .plr file, made a few experimental tweaks
here and there :)
Check the power supply.

The power supply is ok and all the cords(?) are properly connected. Now that
I think about it, the wheel stopped responding right after I installed Toca
Race Driver 2. That can't be the issue here can it?

What do you mean by "not responding"? Is it that you get a "Game controller
is not responding" message when you open the control panel's settings page?
If so, take a look at

URL makes it through alright)

Yes, exactly. When I reinstalled the software it did't recognize the wheel
when it asks you to plug it in. Otherwise everything is OK.

Is there an alternative way to change the FFB settings in windows?

If that's it, it wouldn't hurt me much to uninstall :)

If my rusty brain remembers correctly, uninstalling won't fix it.

I could be totally wrong on this. It's just something from way back that I
may have totally wrong.

I would google it.

I dont recall that issue with Toca but getting the wheel recognized in > Toca> took quite a hard yank. So much so I thought I was going strip the> gears ;)>
Mitch

I think it's an issue with the Starforce copy protection software. I used
their removal tool from the website but it didn't solve the problem. Any
ideas?
