Wouldn't be very efficient. The turbo spins in
excess of 10K rpm's. You'd need a big gear reduction
box to get it down to a usable level.
The turbo is just designed to move air, which
isn't very difficult. Getting it to run an alternator
would be tough, and cause a lot of exhaust restriction.
